In terms of cannabinoids, Joy Organics is a pure product. It contains no THC and none of the other 11 common cannabinoids most frequently tested by labs.
The most dominant terpene in Joy Organics lemon formula is caryophyllene, a spicy compound also found in black pepper, cinnamon, and common herbs. Studies suggest caryophyllene may have anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory properties and may even help with alcoholism rehabilitation. The second biggest terpene here is Humelene, which, a 2016 study found may help fight cancer cells when combined with cannabinoids and other terpenes. Terpinolene — which is thought to have antibacterial and antifungal qualities and is known for a floral, piney scent — rounds out the top three.
Think20 Labs test each sample for contaminants such as E.Coli, salmonella, and mold; along with pesticides and chemical residues, and heavy metals such as mercury, lead, and arsenic. No contaminants were detected in this product.
