Kelsey, a Buzzfeed employee, has trigeminal neuralgia (TN) which is a chronic, neuropathic pain.

Trigeminal Neuralgia is a neuropathic pain that happens when nerves become injured or damaged. It is known as one of the most painful things to experience as a human.

Kelsey has had multiple surgeries on her face in an attempt to help reduce the pain, she has tried expensive medication and therapy treatments.

She felt that she has tried everything, but her last resort was cannabis. Through study, she also found that for decades cannabis was never tabooed or seen in a negative light, until an inrush of immigrants causing racial tension which caused it to be criminalised, which then eventually lead to its historical background in medicine to be forgotten about.

Kelsey bought a lotion containing CBD oil which she rubbed around her jaw and temple area where she generally feels the most tension, and two hours later she felt that her face has never been so relaxed. Kelsey now knows the benefits of CBD oil and starts to question why the study and research of CBD oil isn’t fund enough and still shunned upon.

The overall results of Kelsey’s health, was that cannabis had 100% proven to give her a better quality of life. She was able to sleep better, she didn’t suffer from migraines as frequent and she explains that this journey was an incredible life changing experience.
