He has been on many different medications and has received therapy, but nothing has aided him. When Judy realized that Ryan wasn’t getting the help that he needed, she turned to marijuana, to her it seems drastic, but she believes that she has nothing else to lose. Judy mentions that she is not getting Ryan high, due to the dosage that Ryan is on, he is only receiving a very low level amount of TCH. Lester states that cannabis is remarkably non-toxic, and believes that we have been brainwashed into thinking that cannabis isn’t a good substance.
