THC is officially acknowledged to remove the protein that causes Alzheimer’s. According to studies done in California consumption of marijuana can reduce the inflammation in the brain that causes Alzheimer’s disease. Despite cannabis’s potential the government is still getting in the way of progress.

J147 – THC Backdoor Drug Alternative – Does it Work?

They have however found a backdoor drug that mimics THC called J147. With the legalization of THC and the discovery of this new drug its safe to say a cure for Alzheimer’s is on the way. THC works to cure Alzheimer’s in a number of ways. The first is by helping the body to regulate a specific protein that leads to Alzheimer’s progression.

The body fights typically back Alzheimer’s through regulation of the Endocannabinoid System. The Endocannabinoid System regulates the growth of new brain cells naturally. Sometimes there can be a disturbance in the Endocannabinoid System which can an increase in a specific protein that through a chain of events leads to Alzheimer’s. When this protein is unregulated it can damage the communication process inside the brain which leads to dementia.

Another way that marijuana helps with Alzheimer’s, and dementia in general, is through CBD. CBD oils have been shown to offer neuroprotective effects inside the brain. This neuroprotective effect has also been shown to mitigate the effects of aging by promoting proper growth of new brain cells and protecting the current cells.

This can be used as both a preventative measure as well as a treatment if Alzheimer’s disease has begun. Finding a treatment for Alzheimer’s and dementia is of utmost importance with today’s aging population and due to the increase in the disease over the years. It’s something that it needs severe medical and scientific attention.
