Arizer ArGo vs Arizer Air Two
A Friendly Siblings Comparison
It can be tough going head-to-head with a sibling. All the bickering, screams, knowledge of each other’s weaknesses. Plus, it can be just awkward. And really, who wants to fight family? No one.
But we don’t care about any of that. Today we’re bringing together two of Arizer’s favourite children, the ArGo and the Air 2, in a clash of egos. We’re going to explore them both and see if we can’t decide which one is the best. Of course, feel free to draw your own conclusions. Our preferences aren’t the same as yours so what works for us may not be the best thing for you. Let’s dive in.
Design
Of course, the ArGo is much smaller than the Air 2 but that doesn’t mean it should be underestimated. It still manages to pack quite a lot in, plus, it’s much more portable. It can fit comfortably into your pocket or a backpack so can definitely be a little more discreet than the Arizer Air 2. The Air 2 is a bit bigger, both in terms of weight and size. But the Air Two can be taken apart and put into its traveling case when you need to be more mobile.
One nice feature that both possess is a borosilicate glass mouthpiece. What this does is cool your vapor before it reaches your mouth. The Air 2’s mouthpiece is a little long though and can be awkward for traveling with, susceptible to breakages. While the top of the ArGo can pop out to help protect the mouthpiece.
Battery Quality
When it comes to their battery life both of these vaporizers are pretty much on par with one another. Both the ArGo and the Air 2 take roughly two to three hours to charge. Each of them house batteries that can last for up to 90 minutes of continuous usage. This is perfect as far as I’m concerned. Also, the batteries are replaceable so as long as you have a fully charged spare battery there’s no reason why you should ever be without delicious vapor.
Ease of Use
Arizer knows that functionality and usability should be key features of any top range vaporizer. So, it should be no surprise that both of these vaporizers are exceptionally easy to use. The Arizer ArGo was built strictly for dry herbs while the Air 2 has the capability to vape both dry herbs and act as an aromatherapy diffuser.
Despite being a good bit bigger, the Air 2 has only about 0.05 grams more chamber space than the ArGo. This a small positive but the ArGo has got a slightly faster heat up time. It feels like these vaporizers really are neck and neck.
Which to Choose?
When it comes down to it, which is the vaporizer that you should pick? Well, as you can see they’re extremely similar. They both have similar battery life and the difference in their chamber sizes is so small as to be unnoticeable.
The differences lie mainly in the how it looks and their portability. The Arizer Air 2 has a traveling case to store the more delicate parts of the vaporizer like the borosilicate mouthpiece. Because of how it’s designed this can be damaged quite easily while it is attached to the main part of the unit. The Arizer ArGo, however, is much more functional. Because of the movable top part, the mouthpiece can be protected just by raising it. This both quicker and more discreet than the Air 2.
If you’re looking for ultimate portability then I’d choose the ArGo. But if that’s not such a big concern then choose the Air 2, plus you’ll save yourself a little money on the price. Whichever you choose, happy vaping.
